When I was growing up the economy and the job market was very different than today. In the
70s you could get a job and stay there for a long time, maybe even until you retire. When I graduated from college in the
early 90s the tide had already began to turn. The hope was to simply to find a job I could stay at a few years.
Although there are a few rare exceptions, most companies are no longer loyal to their employees and
vice versa. The job market in the US is volatile. With most employers you never know if you will have a job the next month.
It happens to the best of us. Out of the clear blue it seems. A company decides that they want to boost revenue by cutting
your job.
I had been in the information technology field for 7 years. About a year after the terrorist attacks
in 2001 the economy was taking a toll on my industry. I decided to start investing my time in building my own future. I had
been making everyone else rich with my hard work and it occurred to me that as long as I was working for someone else I was
never going to get rich myself.
I knew others were making money online but I didn’t know how. I was determined to find out. I
figured that if I worked hard at building an online business perhaps one day, a few years down the road, I wouldn’t
have to work for someone else. I hoped I would get to a place where I did not have to worry non-stop about job security. I
dreamed of a day when I would be my own boss.
That’s when I kicked it into high gear as far as getting my online business going. I had no idea
when made this move how drastically it would change my life. I also did not anticipate how quickly my online business would
take off. A few months after I started my online business I was making as much as when I was working for a corporation.
There are a few types of online businesses you can launch. I chose to become an affiliate, which is
by far the most popular method for generating revenue on the web. I have had an online business as an affiliate for four years
now. Sometimes I wonder how I could ever go back to working for someone else. I love my life. I love my job. I love my boss…
that’s me!
I am going to share with you everything I learned over the past four years. With my experience you
can get into affiliate marketing ahead of the game. It took me years to get where I am now and I am offering that knowledge
to you. I want you to be as successful as I am.
