Some affiliate use incentives to encourage users to sign up
for offers. For example, for every 5 offers the user signs up for on your site, you give the visitor a $10 visa gift card.
If you make an average of $7 for each offer the visitor signs up for then you make a total of $35. Minus the $10 cost for
the gift card, you come out making $25 for that visitor.
Since the quality of leads is often somewhat lower when incentives are used,
many merchants who offer lead campaigns do not allow it. Cost per sale campaigns are typically more open to the idea.
